Synonyms

Choosing Cmd > Synonym will take the last word in the message area and present you with a list of possible synonyms. You can select one to replace the word. The words come from a thesaurus on the web.

The alphabetic list includes synonyms for all forms and meanings of the word. For example, asking for the synonyms of 'WIND' will present you with these words (among several others):

AIR CURRENT

(Air moving from high pressure to low)

FLATUS

(A reflex that expels gas through

the anus - breaking wind)

IDLE WORDS

(That's a lot of wind)

LIFT

(Raise or haul up with or as if with mechanical help)

SCENT

(Catch the scent of; get wind of)
