The south half:
The north half - now storing many wire cages to support the plants as they grow:
In mid-February Jon dug a bed at the end of the north side and planted flax seeds for fiber. It took 2 days of long hard work (good morning exercise!) to dig it properly and to clear the soil of many weeds and rocks.
In early April Tanya took 2 days to dig a bed for peas and another couple of days to dig a bed for leeks. Jon dug the bed to the left in a day and a half and then Tanya redug it to to look for more bindweed roots.
The north side has room for 5 more beds and on the south side there
is room for 6 more. We also need to dig paths between these beds.
