Ginger Sesame Baked Tofu
- 2 packages extra firm tofu
Slice the tofu into small slabs approximately 1.25"x"x".
Place tofu slabs on counter all aligned and press them
with a paper towel to absorb the moisture.
Turn them over and mop up the moisture underneath them as well.
Place tofu in a 8"x13" glass dish.
Marinade
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 Tbsp grated ginger - or more. Keep ginger in freezer - makes it easy to grate... no need to peel it.
- 5 Tbsp coconut aminos - (OR 2 tsp Braggs aminos or soy sauce - yes tsp)
- 5 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 5 Tbsp water
- 4 tsp sesame seeds
- 15 turns black pepper
- 2 Tbsp tahini
Mix all of the ingredients together and stir well.
Cover the tofu with the marinade.
Turn the tofu if you can to coat top and bottom.
Cover with foil and put in refrigerator overnight.
Remove foil and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
Turn tofu over and bake for 20 more minutes.
